Under this web address and any subdomains, information is provided about EVC·JVC 2027 — the 18th European Vacuum Conference and 20th Joint Vacuum Conference, taking place 5–9 September 2027 at TU Wien — including the conference, its scientific scope, the organizing committee and organizational details.

Purpose of the association

The association, whose activity is not directed at profit, aims to bring together persons, institutes and enterprises interested in the fields of vacuum generation, vacuum measurement and vacuum application, as well as the physics, chemistry and technology of thin films including interfaces and surfaces, in order to promote research and development in the aforementioned fields — in particular through the publication of information and publications, the awarding of research contracts, the organization of lectures and workshops, and the conduct of knowledge-exchange events and continuing-education courses.
